CEX connectivity for institutionals
Description:
Cede SDK is a CEX connectivity SDK for custody solutions that offers unified methods for integrating exchange tracking, internal transfers, sub-accounts, deposits, and withdrawals with minimal coding effort.
Our solution abstracts various logic such as fee computation, rate limits, error handling, network mappings and much more.
Our clients own the UI and have the flexibility to choose where to host the SDK and where to store their customers’ CEX API keys.
The Cede SDK currently supports 15 exchanges with more on the way.
Basically: Fireblocks’ CEX connectivity as a service
CEX: Centralized Exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken,…)
Coming Product Improvements:
- Integrate additional CEX
- A big value for our clients is to have a fast time-to-market with the largest number of CEX, meaning the more CEX we have, the more impact we’re going to have.
- Improve developer experience
- During the due diligence process of our clients, we will always be challenged on the integration time of our product. Anything that can shorter the integration time will make the negotiation and client feedback better.
- Transaction history
- Our clients often offer a broad portfolio view to their customers. In addition to being able to track all wallets and sub-accounts, transaction history is a must especially for deposits and withdrawals.
- Tutorial hosting
- A huge part of the work around CEX connectivity is about the client onboarding on API key creation and address whitelisting. Those tutorials regularly evolve and need to be embedded and dynamic into our client’s product/documentation.
- Integrate derivatives trading
- Currently, our clients don’t ask for trading features but many of our potential clients need it. And when they need it, usually spot trading is not enough and they require derivates trading.
- Regular partner/user requests, past examples:
- Deposit hook
- Http wrapper of the sdk
- Sub-account integration
- Transition to a stateless api
- External signature method
Product exploration:
- Infrastructure for asset rebalancing between CEX or between CEX/On-chain
- We’re are currently finding PMF on our niche: custody solutions. And at the same time we are exploring new markets. Because CEX connectivity is such a large topic, we often we inbound requests from different personas such as prime brokers, hedge funds, stablecoins or market makers. Every time, it sums up into a common product: a CEX rebalancing infrastructure
