To link a MEXC account with io.finnet, you’ll need to provide an API key and a secret key. Additionally, you must add io.finnet IPs to the IP whitelist and assign the necessary permissions to the key.

This article explains how to generate an API key on MEXC, add io.finnet to the IP whitelist, and set the required permissions.

1. Connect to your MEXC account
2. Navigate to your Profile page > API Management or navigate directly to this URL
3. In the Spot section, select the permissions:
   • Account - View Account Details
   • Trade - View Order Details
   • Trade - Trade
   • Withdraw - View Deposit/Withdrawal Details
   • Withdraw - Withdraw
   • Transfer - Read transfer information
   • Transfer - Transfer

1. In the Futures section, select the permissions:
   • Account - View Account Details
   • Trade - View Order Details
   • Trade - Order

1. In the Notes input, enter the name “iofinnetkeys”

2. In the Link IP Address input,

   • Enter those IP addresses, separated with commas:

     99.81.225.185,108.129.83.253

3. Check the box label, I have read and agree to the Risk Reminders for API Users

4. Hit the Create button

5. Depending on your Security verification setup, you may need to fill in several security steps:

   • Trading Password: This is set in your security settings and is likely different from your KuCoin account password. If needed, learn how to reset it.
   • A 6-digit code from an Authenticator App, Email, or Phone Number

6. Hit the Submit button

7. The key will be generated successfully, displaying both an API key and a secret key. If you close this page, you won’t be able to retrieve the secret key later
