To link a Kucoin account with io.finnet, you’ll need to provide an API key and a secret key. Additionally, you must add io.finnet IPs to the IP whitelist and assign the necessary permissions to the key.
This article explains how to generate an API key on Kucoin, add io.finnet to the IP whitelist, and set the required permissions.
Connect to your Kucoin Account
Navigate to your Account overview > API Management or navigate directly to this URL
Hit the Create API button
In the API Name input, enter the name “iofinnetkeys”
In the API Passphrase input, enter a custom password. Be sure to note this password, as you will need it later to link your Kucoin account to io.finnet. If you lose this password, you will need to recreate an API key.
In the API Restrictions section, select all those permissions:
In the IP Restriction section
Select the Yes checkbox
Enter those IP addresses, separated with commas:
99.81.225.185,108.129.83.253
Hit the Next button
Depending on your Security verification setup, you may need to fill in several security steps:
Hit the Confirm button
The key will be generated successfully, displaying both an API key and a secret key. If you close this page, you won’t be able to retrieve the secret key later
